James Milner won the title with Manchester City before, while Daniel Sturridge is the only other player on the team to win a Premier League medal.
The team's lack of experience led spectators to question the club's qualifications and ability to cope with the situation for the rest of the campaign.
But their captain, who joined the Sunderland club in 2011, insists that his teammates love the wait that stems from being at the top of the table.
"There are no free swings when you play for Liverpool and you should not do either," Henderson said in an interview. Mirror.
"No one here wants to be the underdog or the outsider – our entire team wants to wait because it means you perform at the highest level."
In addition to the Premier League, the Reds remain resolutely looking for the glory of the Champions League this season.
They played in a draw 0-0 at home against Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the round of 16, the return match on 13 March.
Despite the possibility of success in Europe, the Liverpool captain insists that he takes every game as he stands rather than giving priority to a particular competition.
"This season, there have been external discussions about the opportunity to prioritize some compositions over others," Henderson added.
"The discussions did not take place in Melwood. There is no need to prioritize, so we do not do it.

"If you give yourself an excuse, you will find yourself without anything, we do not seek and take no excuse, never."
Liverpool's next match will be against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
