The Ghana Olympic Committee (COG), on behalf of all national sports federations, wished Asante Kotoko good luck in anticipation of her upcoming CAF Confederation match against Nkana FC in Zambia on Sunday 24 February.
Kotoko faces a difficult task facing the Zambian giants and hopes to get positive results that could propel them to the next stage of this year's contest.
A statement signed by COG President Ben Nunno Mensah praises the Porcupine warriors, who remain the only light of Ghana in international sports.
"We would like to congratulate Dr. Kwame Kyei, who speaks little but does a lot, the coach CK Akunor, with whom I worked at Hearts of Oak, as well as the entire management team and the players for this. that they have been able to achieve until now.
"At COG, we are very hopeful that Kotoko's outstanding performance will pave the way for the resumption of our football business and that Ghana will take its rightful place on the continent."
The statement also urged the team to prove its worth and make the country proud, calling on Ghanaians to lend their unwavering support to the team.
