David Silva said Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea will be a "good" opportunity.
The midfielder, widely regarded as the city's greatest player, will be looking to win his eighth major national trophy since joining the club in the summer of 2010.
And although he is expecting a tough game against a team of Chelsea full of offensive qualities, he is desperate to add another title to his growing list.
"It's another chance to win a title," he says. "And it's always nice to play in a final at Wembley, for our fans too.
"Let's hope we can win it.
"A final is always difficult, whether we play against Chelsea or another team.
"It will be difficult. They have a lot of quality players on the front, so we should take care of them. "

He has played 33 times this season, scoring 9 goals and 10 badistants. Guardiola recently described it as "one of the best players I have trained".

Silva says that he feels fresh despite his advanced age, but admits that he finds new strategies for staying in top form.

Guardiola's gold medal at the Carabao Cup: Among the countless qualities demonstrated by Pep Guardiola during his tenure at City, overseeing a second successive run for the Carabao Cup final confirmed he deserved also honors to exploit his own gold blend in the League Cup.
"To be honest, I feel good," he said. "I feel good and I know that every day it becomes more and more difficult because there are a lot of games and a high level.
"But I feel good. I have to be more careful, but that's what I do and I feel good. "
Characteristics
With Silva, one of the City's most experienced players, he is now mentoring some of the club's youngest players.
Indeed, Phil Foden has repeatedly cited the Spaniard as one of the most influential senior players on the team.
With a World Cup, two European Championships, three Premier League titles, an FA Cup and three League Cups, City youth would not have a better model to follow.
This is something that Silva takes seriously, saying
"When young people coming in need advice, when they need to be there, the most experienced players are trying to be there for them," he said.
"I do it because, when I was young, I also liked being helped by the more experienced ones."
