A new clue to what could be the real title (or at least the job title) of Bond 25, the news to come James Bond adventure. Via The Guardian, we have a new report indicating that the film is placed under the title Shatterhand. It sounds like a member of Rob Liefeld's X-Force (and maybe it was), but in fact Shatterhand is a phrase created by Ian Bond's author, Fleming, more than 50 years ago.
The industry publication, Production Weekly, published in its letter of February 21, the newsletter "Bond 25 w / t Shatterhand", which filming is expected to begin in Pinewood Studios on April 6. This seems to confirm the long-held rumors that Shatterhand is a candidate for the Bond 25 title. The name comes from an alias used by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, supervillain series, in Ian Fleming's 1964 novel, You Only Live Twice. .
On the one hand (breaking), Shatterhand is a pretty silly word. By cons, just about all names and bond titles are idiots? Shatterhand certainly less more stupid than Octobad, a James Bond movie that really exists. Then again Octobad was a light comedy – Bond goes disguised as a circus clown at some point – and since Bond 25 is a Daniel Craig Bond, and his films tend to be a little more serious and sinister, I am confident that the film will arrive in theaters with a different title.
Anyway, this title suggests Blofeld will to be back for Shatterhand or Bond 25 or You only live three times or no matter what they end up calling. This could be a very big clue on the subject of the film (Christoph Waltz played the big enemy of the Bond, Blofeld in Spectrum, but the character had the story of changing faces and being played by different actors in the 1960s, so they could use that gag again.) Bond 25 has recently had its release date delayed. The film will open on April 8, 2020.
