Your life is on your iPhone, so if you want to share it with your friends, family and colleagues, what's better than capturing what's on your iPhone screen? ScreenRecorder for iPhone is a Cydia application that captures the screen of your iPhone – be it a tutorial, a demonstration or a demonstration – in one click. Here's Cult of Mac's step-by-step guide to how this paid app works.
What you will need:
- An iPhone / iPod Touch jailbroken with Cydia installed.
- Wi-Fi and internet access on the device.
- ScreenRecorder Cydia app worth $ 1.99
1. To begin, you will need a jailbroken device with Cydia installed. If you need to jailbreak your device, check out our jailbreak guides. Tap the Cydia icon to open it.
2. After launching Cydia, choose the 'Sections' tab and select 'Utilities'.
3. Open the ScreenRecorder package and click the "Buy" button in the upper right corner. Then complete the purchase process to begin the download and installation.
4. Open ScreenRecorder on your iPhone and simply press the 'Capture' button after the start screen to start recording. The recording will start in 5 seconds. You can now quit the application and let it save in the background.
5. When the registration is complete, open the application again and press the green "Stop" button. This will record the video on / var / mobile / Media / ScreenRecorder on your iPhone. (You can transfer these files from your device using this SSH tutorial.) To view or delete videos on the iPhone, tap "View and delete videos" at the bottom left. Select a video to display or delete it by dragging it and pressing the delete button.
