Members of Korle Klottey, a member of the Greater Accra Area People's Party (CPP), marched Saturday morning in the main streets of the district, in memory of the overthrow of Dr. Oswigo Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana after independence.
The PCP was founded by Nkrumah, whose plans and ideals of nation building insist that they remain highly relevant to current development needs.
Daniels Atu Reynolds, president of Korle Klottey constituency, told Graphic Online that Saturday's march was intended to draw public attention to the country's decline in development.

"We are organizing this march because Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown on February 24 (a few years ago) and we chose this day to tell people that Ghana is doomed and that the CPP should go out and take the coat. We ask people to tell them about Kwame Nkrumah's vision, "he said.
