Maurice Ampaw, a controversial lawyer, is 'sick and tired' of Menzgold's injured clients who still accuse President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of their plight with demonstrations.

He says their behavior is now "irritating" after urging them to take legal action rather than unsuccessful demonstrations and blame games.

"I have no problem with the president; my problem is with Menzgold's customers. If they have the appropriate means and do not use the appropriate channels, unnecessary noise or insults, I am sure that NAM 1 could be in the country to allow Menzgold's customers to interact with him and with the help of security agencies to find all his belongings we "he said.

His comment comes after aggrieved customers of the gold distribution company Menzgold expressed disappointment at President Akufo-Addo's nonchalance about their situation.

Hundreds of Ghanaians who have invested their funds with the distressed gold distribution company have called on the government to help them.

Some of the clients were at the House of Parliament with signs at the picket line.

However, President Akufo-Addo called the Menzgold saga a tragedy, since he spoke about it publicly for the first time in his third speech on the state of the nation on Thursday. February 21, 2019.

The president was unhappy that customers had ignored several warnings from regulators and urged them to learn lessons for the future.

Maurice Ampaw, also a customer of gold distribution company Menzgold, explained that the approach taken by his fellow customers is not the best.

"Nobody can blame President Nana Addo for anything; he did nothing wrong and forced anyone to invest. Menzgold was already operational before Nana Addo became president. Who among the clients went to consult Nana Addo for advice before investing?

Adding this: "Who among the clients shares its benefits / benefits with President Nana Addo? Customers should stay calm and use proper procedures to make noise. "
