A group of senior executives from one of the country's IT giants, Oracle, met with President Nana Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House.
The meeting was intended to spark an intention between Oracle and the presidential office, to strengthen cooperation and partnership; formalize future cooperation in a protocol agreement with the government.
Oracle will contribute to the presidential priorities of sustainable, aid-independent economic growth, the modernization of the public sector, and the safety and well-being of citizens through our leading-edge digital technologies and solutions.
Oracle, a global provider of enterprise cloud computing to more than 430,000 customers in 175 countries. Oracle has been in Africa for almost three decades and has been steadily increasing its presence on the continent.
It now operates 13 specialized offices in Africa; among them, two in Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa, as well as one-off offices in Algeria, Kenya, Ghana, Côte d 'Ivoire, Senegal, Morocco and Mauritius.
