NDC President for Ayawaso East, Olabode Wiliams, NDC President for Central Ayawaso Della Jeraldo, and NDC Vice President for Ayawaso North, Alhaji Abdul-Manaf Walker, said the party was campaigning for the legacy and achievements of JDM. and it was therefore necessary to give him the green light to lead the NDC to victory.

They said that many other Ghanaians aspired for the return of JDM in order to save the country from incompetent and ineffective government of the nuclear power station.

According to them, Ghanaians were suffering from difficulties, insecurity, fear and panic, and they hoped that JDM would solve the problems.

The executive members rejected the fact that JDM had only one term and indicated that the important thing now was to give power to the NDC in the next elections.

They said the other six flag candidates were good, but the party could not market them region by region, riding by riding and riding by riding to win the 2020 election.

Williams predicted 98% for JDM, while MM. Walker and Jeraldo both predicted 97% for JDM.

Nearly 280,000 NDC delegates are expected to vote to elect a flag bearer who will represent the party in the 2020 election.

Other candidates include the second vice-speaker of Parliament, Alban Kingsford, Sumani Bagbin; Joshua Alabi, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Accra Professional Studies (UPSA); former General Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Mr. Sylvester Mensah.
