ACHAT, N.Y., February 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Atlas Air Worldwide (Nasdaq: AAWW): As previously reported, Atlas Air Flight 3591 was involved in an accident earlier in the day. Three people were on board at the time.
A research survey is underway at this stage. In the meantime, we provide all possible information to the families and relatives of the pbadengers.
The flight from Miami to Houston was a cargo flight operated by Atlas Air on behalf of Amazon. We have activated our emergency response plans and we will send a team of specialists to the site of the accident.
Everyone in the company is deeply saddened by this event. At the present time, our main priority is to care for those affected and we will do everything in our power to help them now and in the days and weeks to come.
