5 plus points of the potential transfer ban

Last week, FIFA banned Chelsea from buying players for two transfer windows after allegedly violating the signing rules of foreign players under the age of 18.

The Blues were also fined £ 460,000 after the Fifa investigation revealed that 29 transfers had broken the rules, including Bertrand Traoré's signature, and the Football Association had also been fined 390 £ 000.

Chelsea immediately appealed the decision despite anticipation of the penalty for some time. In doing so, she has potentially gained time to strengthen her team in the transfer slot this summer, given the time it takes for FIFA's appeal process.

The Blues managed to appeal the FIFA transfer ban in 2009, when the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that there was no fault in the transfer of winger Gael Kakuta, but not sure if Chelsea's last appeal will be allowed.

Regardless of the outcome of the Blues call, we identified five positives if the transfer ban was upheld.
