A woman found a secret message from her deceased, terminally ill mother written on the sole of her wedding shoes.
The 38-year-old bride, Emma, who is due to be married in August, received the shoes last week and said she was "sorry" when she saw her mother's message.
A month after Emma's wedding with her fiancée Richard, Emma had diagnosed cancer. She was hoping to go to the wedding, but she sadly pbaded away in 2017.
Emma told the BBC: "It's so hard to plan a wedding without having it with me, and I had a lot of tears."
She said that the shoes arrived in the mail and that she was told that her mother had already paid for them.

The message: "I wanted you to give me a present on your wedding day. Your wedding shoes are my gift for you.

Emma said, "I knew absolutely nothing, my fiance was aware. It was just an absolute shock.
"I took out the shoe and saw part of the message and could not know who it was."
She told this when she realized that it was from her mother: "I started crying … I was completely broken.
"I could not breathe, I could not speak."
Emma shared her story and a photo of the shoes on Facebook, where she was inundated with support.
She said that hearing that other people were preparing their own wedding without their mother had comforted her.
Emma had stated that she had one or two years left to live after the diagnosis of lung cancer.
She had written letters to some family members, but she had "run out of time" before writing one to her daughter.
"It's so special for me," said Emma.

Amanda Weise, who runs the online store Lace and Love, which personalizes the shoes, said it was "adorable" to be part of the touching gift.
"It's probably the most moving pair of shoes I'll ever make," she said.

Emma's mother contacted Amanda a few weeks after the initial order was placed.
