Jarrod Bowen has scored 18 goals in 36 games for Hull this season

Hull striker Jarrod Bowen said he had refused the opportunity to sign for Cardiff in January because he would have found "uncomfortable" the prospect of replacing Emiliano Sala.

Sala signed for Cardiff during the winter transfer window, but died a few days later when the plane that was transporting it to Wales crashed into the English Channel.

The Bluebirds have not signed a substitute for Sala during the final days of the window, although Bowen says he's been offered the opportunity to join the Premier League team.
