Upon her arrival, Ms. Sullivan paid a courtesy call to Tamale Mayor Musah Superior in his office to discuss some of the priorities of the partnership between the US government and the Government of Ghana to help accelerate the socio-economic development. country's economy.
She mentioned trade and investment, private enterprise-led development and the program of action beyond aid in Ghana as some of the areas in which the US government was interested in a partnership with the country.
For his part, the Mayor of Tamale, Mr. Superior thanked the US ambbadador for her visit and said that the badembly had embarked on activities aimed at creating an enabling environment promoting business activities in the city.
