Some Ghanaians have expressed anger at what might be like the sudden return of power outages commonly known as "dumsor" after the PDS ECG takeover.
John Lartey even threatened to sue President Nana Akufo-Addo because of power cuts in most parts of the country.
Lartey, who claims that this does not happen in London, where he had been living for 17 years, claimed that the situation had made him sleep outside because of the unbearable heat of the night that had caused the bite of a snake on his leg.
"The blackout that started three days ago at night let me sleep outside and I was bitten by a snake," he said. declared. As a result, he stated that he accused the president of a fine of 10 million GH ¢ for compensation for damages.
As part of this compensation, Mr. Lartey claims a commercial bus known as "trotro" to allow him to travel the Dansoman-Odorkor way as a means of survival.

Many parts of the country have experienced power outages in the last two nights. This comes after Ghana's electricity company transferred the company's operations to Power Distribution Services (PDS) in February 2019.
Among the affected areas are Lapaz, Abeka, Sowutum, Kasoa, Dansoman, Tema, Kwashieman, Odorkor, Awoshie and parts of northern Ghana.
Energy Minister Peter Amewu has promised that power outages would be over in five days.
