Akufo-Addo begins a law to fight against vigilantism

President Akufo-Addo has instructed the Attorney General to begin the process of introducing a bill to Parliament to combat the threat of self-defense in the country.

The President made the announcement in his reaction to the second letter of NDC President Samuel Ofosu Ampofo on the party's reservations about the President's proposed strategy to address the threat.

The president who had instructed the NDC and the NPP to face the threat during his speech on the state of the nation also stressed that he would pbad a bill to deal with the problem if the parties did not did not do it.
