Fans were rightly shocked Thursday – and quickly expressed their frustrations on Twitter – after finding that Danai Gurira's name was missing from the new poster for Avengers: Endgame, while his character, Okoye, was on it.
Marvel Studios have released a new version of the poster later in the day, featuring Gurira and recognizing the mistake. "She should have been up there all this time," Marvel Studios tweeted.
The omission of Danai Gurira's name on the poster has troubled many, considering the names of Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong and Gwyneth Paltrow – none of which appears in the character on the screen. poster – are shown in the credits.
