According to Paul Osei Barima, most of the protesters were "foreigners of the city" and not students.

He told Richard Kwadwo Nyarko of Joy News that he could not say why some foreigners would decide to get involved in an internal affair of the STE.

"Most of the students attended conferences and went there to create a lot of trouble and panic. Most of the students had to drop their clbades, "said Braimah in a very frustrated tone.

The clerk thinks that some people are directing the attacks on the school management and "wanting to use the students".
