The Bangladesh team was going to one of the mosques when the shooting started. The team leader remembers that the team was only 50 meters from the mosque when the terrorists opened fire. The attack has left at least 49 dead and was described by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as "one of the darkest days" for New Zealand.
