Speaking before the committee appointing members on Friday, Mr. Owusu-Yeboa is committed to fulfilling his responsibilities to all residents of his region, without fear or favoritism.
His comments answered questions raised about the measures he would put in place to combat the problem of unemployment among his population.
Party affiliation, he said, should not be the determining factor in the responsibilities of a leader, which is why he will follow the procedure laid down to meet the needs of all persons in the Party. region to ensure equity and development.
"I am not only a minister for the NPP, people will be aligned not only in political parties, but also in everyone, which will not be a problem," he said.
The former regional minister of the Volta also expressed optimism about the development of the region by mobilizing the necessary resources appropriately.
Mr. Owusu-Yeboa appeared before the Nominating Committee on Friday, March 15, 2019 to be approved as Minister for the Oti Region.
The Oti region is one of six regions created in December 2018. The regions were created by referendum and the capitals subsequently named by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Dambai is the capital of the region.
