Dave's psychodrama made his # 1 debut in this week's official standings, winning an unbelievably tight battle for first place against Foals.
The London rapper's first studio album (after his Top 20 EP Game Over 2017) debuted the week at number 5 of Monday's card update, but fought hard to win the title of the week.
Psychodrama achieved 26,390 combined sales, including 23.6 million shares, representing 79% of the total. This is the biggest week 1 of a British rap album, barely surpbading Stormzy's Gang Signs & Prayer band.
Dave also has a big impact on this week's official singles chart, with three pieces of the album claiming the top three new entries in the Top 40.

That means Foals sits in second place with his new album Everyone will be lost, Pt 1, finishing at just 279 combined sales. This album is the band's fourth album to appear in the Top 5. "Everything Not Saved …" is the best-selling vinyl record of the week and ranks first on the official vinyl album board.
Meanwhile, Dido wins the number 3 with his fifth studio album and the first in six years Still On My Mind. Norwegian singer Sigrid debuts at number 4 with her first set Sucker Punch. Paul Weller also makes his debut in the Top 10 with his new live album Other Aspects – Live At The Royal Albert Hall at number 10.
Down below, American rapper Juice Wrld debuts at the age of 12 with his second album Death Race For Love, James Morrison's fifth album, "You Stronger Than You Know," at age 14, Kate Bush's The Other Sides. new CD collection of rare pieces of the singer (which first appeared together for the Remastered in Vinyl IV box) is at number 18 and David Gray is doingth Top 40 so far with the new Gold In A Brbad Age album at number 21.
