The Commission of Judge Emile Short who investigated the violence that tainted January 31 2019 The by-election of the constituency of Ayawaso-West-Wuogon presented its report to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

"The Government will study the contents, conclusions and recommendations of the report and, in accordance with Article 280 of the Constitution, will ensure that relevant decisions taken on the report are made available to the general public."

In presenting the report to President Akufo-Addo, Judge Emile Short stated that the commission had fulfilled its mandate ", the depth of our report will convince you, Excellency, that all the necessary grounds have been covered will find the conclusions and the useful recommendation to shape the future ".

He also thanked President Akufo-Addo for his initiative and commitment to eliminate the scourge of electoral violence emanating from Ghana's political bodies.
