ELECTrek's Jamie Dow has eloquently presented the argument that it is not surprising that Tesla's Model Y was unveiled last night, even though people were expecting something more.
But Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, said "there was something, but no one caught it" – it looks like it's the Tesla Electric Pickup.
As Jamie explained, it makes sense that Tesla focuses on what led to the Y model at last night's event instead of promoting another product.
Yet, it seems that there has been something, but it seems that we have all missed it.
Musk tweeted in response to a person pointing out that there was not "one last thing":
There was something, but nobody caught him

The CEO did not specify what had been missed. What could it be?
Electrek's Take
Once the presentation is over, the lights go out for a second and rumor has it that Tesla has displayed an image of the electric reading head on the main screen, but it's hard to know if anyone actually saw it and it seems like no one took a picture.
After the presentation, I quickly went to the newsroom to start writing an article about the specifications and design of the Y model.
I did not see anything, but when I came out, a lot of people came to tell me the story.
That said, I asked them all if they had actually seen it and they all said that they had just heard from someone else.
It could therefore simply be a wild rumor that has spread during the event or that might actually be true, but only a handful of people have it. view and no one had a picture.
Anyway, Elon confirmed there was something more, but if we all missed it, what's the point?
Go Tesla! Give us one more shot please!
