T.I. based Fomena Ambadent has chosen the last location for schools in the Ashanti region for the preliminary round of the National Science 2019 and Math Quiz.

With a score of 49 points, they beat Effiduasi Senior High who scored 37 points.

The SHS of St. Mary's girls have suffered to keep in the game, finishing with just 18 points, but also did better than Collins Senior High who still runs national championship debut. They scored only six points.

At the penultimate contest, Toase Senior High qualified with 34 points.

The St. Hubert seminar and the high school failed to participate for the third consecutive time in the televised quiz, scoring 12 points less than Friday's winners.

In the 2018 contest, they were eliminated at the stage of an eighth in their first game, having appeared as a seed school 2017.

Amaniampong Senior High and Barekese Senior High both scored 13 points and six points respectively; only good for the records.
