& # 39; Wilting Point & # 39; is an exhibition that presents the work of French photo-reporter William Daniels since 2007 in about 60 images.
His work, which has been widely published in magazines such as National Geographic, has more than a decade of travel in the former Soviet territories: Kyrgyzstan, Siberia, Kashmir, the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar.
The Wilting Point exhibition begins in a large, bright white room where most of the images are monochrome. From one room to the other, the light decreases, the color contrast is reversed.
In the attic, in an atmosphere that is both spiritual and conducive to contemplation, Daniels counterbalances humanity and the dehumanized, bathed in darkness, light and colors.
Exhibited at Carré Baudoin in Paris until April 11 and from April 18 to June 11, 2019 at the Old Church of Mérignac, near Bordeaux.
