The two shootings have been described as "despicable cowardly crime requiring a unified Islamic and international stance".

"We must unite to defeat the scourge of terror in all its forms," he added.
Police say 49 people were killed and at least 20 seriously injured.

Police announced that a man in his early twenties had been arrested and charged with murder.
