His statement comes after a viral video showed the noisy MP during a clash with the Central Regional Police Commander on Thursday as the police tried to control student demonstrators on the North Campus. University of Winneba Education.

"In this video, which has also been corroborated by eyewitnesses, the member for Assin Central has been seen in an aggressive atmosphere, saying that he would ensure that a serving police officer be removed without apparent reason.

"The police administration also took note of the fact that the commander of the Central Region Police who was on the spot immediately told Mr. Agyapong that he had no power to dismiss a police officer who was performing his legitimate duties, "said ACP Eklu.

The Police Administration badured the Commander of the Central Regional Police that no one would exercise the authority to dismiss a police officer without legal justification or due process.
