DGN online has learned that an armed robbery band leader operating between Banda Nkwanta and Bole Bamboo, 25, was shot dead by police.

Northeast Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Yussif Tanko, confirmed the incident to DGN Online.

According to DGN Online, other armed robbers suspected of being wounded by bullet managed to escape arrest.
