Moratti: "Inter, put aside idiotic reasons"

Mbadimo Moratti updates Mauro Icardi's case and urges the Inter team to "put aside the reasons why it has split in two, the story of Inter and its supporters being more important ".

It's a head-to-head for third place in Serie A and a few days after Inter withdrew from the Europa League in favor of Eintracht Frankfurt.

"I think the players were scared by the bad start and lost the organization needed to control the match," said former Inter president Moratti at Rai Sport.

"They have to tackle the derby in a more relaxed state, remembering that it's not like Milan is a Real Madrid."

The Nerazzurri are still without Icardi, the striker complained of a knee injury that happened by chance the day he was stripped of his captaincy on February 13th. He has not played or coached with the team since.

"Everything started badly and it is now difficult to solve. It depends on the people involved. We asked this release a little too much between the players and now everyone is firm in their positions.

"It's a moment of crisis for Luciano Spalletti, but we have to be patient."

Moratti was asked what he would have said to the team at the beginning of the last weeks of the season and he did not hold on.
