Dan Kwaku Yeboah is the spokesperson for the GFA Standards Committee.
Ghana's Federation Standardization Committee spokesman Dan Kweku Yaboah called the bluffing criticism of the new Black Stars management committee.
CN on Friday named a five-member executive management team to lead the Black Stars at CAN 2019 in Egypt, which will be led by GNPC Chairman Dr. K.K. Sarpong.
The composition of the committee, which also includes the vice-minister of sports, vice-president, has generated many public reactions, many of which describe it as a political committee.
But Dan Kwaku Yeboah, a former Ghanaian federation critic and now a spokesman for the NC, says the arguments are unfounded, with the committee members being competent.
"Why do not we judge them by their expertise but by their membership in a party?
"The Minister of Finance is bound to the President. does that in a way erase his expertise?
"I do not know where it comes from and I do not think it's important to emphasize that," he told Sikka FM.
Surprisingly, Dan Kwaku Yeboah had already wondered about the importance of management committees for national teams but, strangely, subscribed to the same thing under a different administration.
The other members of the committee are Ibrahim Sunday, Francis Asenso-Boakye and Abena Osei Asare.
They are supposed to oversee the activities of the Black Stars and collaborate with the technical team to facilitate all arrangements so that the team receives the best preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Ghana has already qualified for CAN 2019 after a ban on Sierra Leone despite an ongoing match with Kenya.
