Wolf star Raul Jimenez declares that he would like to stay this summer

The star of the Wolves loans, Raul Jimenez, wants to stay permanently in the club for the Premier League.

The striker arrived at Molineux with a loan from the season of the Portuguese giant Benfica last summer and had an immediate impact on the podium.

Jimenez scored 12 goals and provided seven badists in 30 league games to a Wolves team that impressed his first season in the Premier League.

The wolves paid 2.5 million pounds as part of the loan and will have to pay 32 million pounds, as agreed by both clubs, if they want to sign the 27 year old player permanently.

And the Mexican international, who played in La Liga with Atletico Madrid before signing for Benfica, wants to extend his stay with the Wolves.

"I would like to stay with the wolves, I am very happy," he told Marca Claro.

"A major project has been created in Wolverhampton.It is not normal that a newly promoted team in the Premier League is fighting for a place in the Europa League."

On his valuation of £ 32m, he added: "This is the clause that Benfica has decided and that's what any team that wants me to pay."

The wolves are currently seventh in the Premier League standings, having returned to the top of the league last season.

They are also in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, welcoming Manchester United on Saturday night.
