A football fan changes his name and becomes his favorite club.

A Norwegian football fan changed his name to show his dedication to his favorite club.

Jon Derby Gjeilo, 56, who has supported Derby County since the age of 12, also has a museum in his home dedicated to the Rams.

The father of three, who has a Derby license plate, told Derbyshire Live: "I love Derby and the people here.

"In the '70s, the Rams were the best team to support and I was the only member of my family to support them."

The children of Jon, Frikk, 29, Sondre, 27, and Janne, 24, who all live near Oslo, are also Derby fans and play as much as possible in the matches.

Jon, who owns a sports shop and lives in a village called Lom, in the Norwegian mountains, said his kids "love the city of Derby" as much as he does.

"We come here once a year for holidays, it's like I'm going home when I see Derby station.

"My dream is to buy a pub here, but I have my own story in Norway, so it's difficult."

Dad Frikk, a carpenter who watches every game in Norway, said: "It's the feeling you feel when you come here.

"We stay at Jury's Inn and we always go to the Wetherspoons Settlement for breakfast.We do not have any Wetherspoons in Norway.

"We never have breakfast at the hotel, only standing orders."

Frikk's son, Johnathan Michael, a year, is also a fan of Derby and has already received the full kit.

The Gjeilo family was in Derby last week for the match against Wigan Athletic, which saw favorite family player Mason Bennett score a goal in the 62nd minute.
