[ad_1]

This week on The Sound Kitchen, you will hear the answer to the question about the two men who claim the presidency of Venezuela. There's a little trip to Abu Dhabi, news for the listeners, music at the request of Prithwiraj Purkayastha – and of course, the new quiz question. Just click on the arrow in the photo above and enjoy!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly podcast of The Sound Kitchen, published every Saturday. You will hear the names of the winners and the quiz of the week, as well as all the other ingredients you are used to: your letters and essays, "On This Day", unusual facts and news, interviews and good music … then be sure and listen every week.

Would not you like to hear your voice on The Sound Kitchen? I know I would! Take out your phones and save what we call "drops" – because we "drop" them here and there in the show – it's the little ones "You listen to The Sound Kitchen, and Susan Owensby cooks" things that we sprinkle in the show. Many are listeners, and as I am always hungry, I want more! Here's what you can say:

"I'm (your name) from (your country) and you listen to The Sound Kitchen on Radio France International."

"I'm (your name) from (your country) and you listen to The Sound Kitchen, where you never know what you're going to serve!"

"I'm (your name) from (your country) – you listen to The Sound Kitchen, and Susan Owensby cooking."

Or be creative and create your own – why not? Samuel Francis, from Jamaica, sent me one that said "yah man" – I play it often!

Send them to me in MP3 or WAV format, at the address [email protected]

Paris Live, our afternoon news show, also wishes to participate in the action! You can also send recordings of yourself saying the above, but instead of (obviously) "The Sound Kitchen", say "Paris Live". We will have your voices everywhere on the English service – which is great!

I would also like to hear from you about your little moments of joy. Little things everyday: a beautiful sunset, a baby laugh. Add this as a very good ingredient to our common kitchen – let's share the joy! In these times of madness, we all need it … write to me at [email protected]
