CABANA enrolled 2,204 patients in 126 centers in 10 countries between 2009 and 2016. Each patient presented with either early-stage or sub-treated atrial fibrillation. In larger trials with longer follow-up, such as CABANA, patients do not always follow the badigned treatment.
