Your favorite space superheroes make their solo return.

The Guardians of the Galaxy have to their credit two hit movies that have shown the heroic abilities of ancient villains Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket.

After appearing in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the team continued to gain popularity, after joining the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe to attack at his nasty villain Thanos.

The navigation was not smooth, but the Guardians are making their comeback for a third solo outing, with major changes behind the scenes with James Gunn as a true roller coaster.

But who participates now in the third outing and when can we wait for the movie?

Here's all we know about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Release date of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 UK

There are currently no confirmed release dates for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, although it is expected to be released in 2020.

The film will be finished when James Gunn finishes his work on The Suicide Squad, whose release is scheduled for August 6, 2021.

This suggests that we can expect Guardians 3 to be in 2022 – at the earliest.

Despite being fired by Disney in 2018 after the reoccurrence of controversial tweets, James Gunn will return as screenwriter and director of the film.

Gunn directed and wrote the screenplays for the first two Guardians movies.

The cast members showed a wave of support after his first layoff, which would likely have contributed to his re-hiring by Disney in March 2019.

Guardians of the galaxy cast 3

Chris Pratt as Star-Lord / Peter Quill

The American star is expected to resume his role as a half-human / half-celestial hero, Peter Quill.

The character was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Decimation, but should return to Avengers: Endgame.

Zoe Saldana as Gamora

The Grand Lady of the Guardians is the biggest question mark regarding the return to the franchise.

Gamora was killed in Avengers: Infinity War by his adoptive father Thanos to get him the Stone of Souls.

It has been shown that her young child existed inside the stone, but it is unclear whether she will be resurrected in Avengers: Endgame despite this hope.

This may be a subject of the plot of the Guardians' third film.

Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer

Despite the initial uncertainty surrounding the actor's appearance after vehemently condemning Disney's dismissal of Gunn, Bautista should now return as a hilarious Guardian.

The character was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Decimation, but should return to Avengers: Endgame.

Vin Diesel as Groot

Diesel is likely to resume his role as a hero of ever-loving trees. I am Groot!

The character was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Decimation, but should return to Avengers: Endgame.

Bradley Cooper as Rocket

The villainous raccoon villain should return to the franchise, becoming the only remaining guardian after Avengers: Infinity War and playing a major role in Avengers: Endgame.

Pom Klementieff as Mantis

It is confirmed that the former empathetic servant of Ego, member of Living Planet and Guardians, will come back for the third film.

The character was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Decimation, but should return to Avengers: Endgame.

Karen Gillan as a nebula

The Scottish actress describes Gamora's adoptive sister, Nebula, in the Guardians' first two films. She also played a major role in Avengers: Infinity War and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.

It's unclear if the character will survive his appearance in Endgame while she's seeking revenge on Father Thanos, who looks like God.

The result of the film will have an effect on how or if it appears here.

Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha

The Australian actress has long been waiting to return to her role as high priestess of the sovereign, a genetically modified race that strives for perfection.

The end credits of Guardians 2 suggested he take revenge on the Guardians for the events of this movie.

Sean Gunn as Kraglin

James Gunn's brother, Sean, is expected to make a comeback as Yondu's former right-hand man, Kragln.

One can also expect that an actor plays the role of the clbadic Marvel Comics character Adam Warlock.

Michael Rooker is unlikely to be back Yondu Udonta, Quill's substitute father, following the death of the character in the second film.

The same can be said for the biological father of Quiill, the celestial being Ego, played by Kurt Russell.

It's unclear if we'll see Xandar's Nova Corps, after the absence of John C. Reilly and Glenn Close Rohmann Dey and Irani Rael, respectively, in the second film.

There is uncertainty as to the original comic version of the Guardians appearing here, but we will certainly see them again in Gunn's UCM when we talk to The Whig.

This Ravagers team played minor roles in the second film and was performed by some big names: Sylvester Stallone as Yondu's mentor. Stakar Ogord, Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex, Ving Rhames as Charlie 27, Miley Cyrus as Central Unitand Michelle Yeoh as Starkar's adoptive sister, Aleta Ogord.

The gardians

Little is known about the plot of the film, aside from the fact that the mid-generic scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teased the Sovereign's Ayesha's revenge plan to destroy the Guardians with a perfect warrior called Adam.

Adam is probably Adam Warlock, a clbadic cosmic hero of Marvel Comics, accustomed to Guardian comics.

The rest of the plot will probably depend on the results of Avengers: Endgame and the fight against Thanos.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has no release date yet.
