This common rail diesel engine produces a maximum traction power of 99bhp and 216Nm. The power provided is fairly homogeneous and we can barely feel the turbo come into play. There is a slight push around 17:00, followed by a strong push until 38:00, it is better to go up. What is also interesting is that the engine has a strong enough thrust and that the gearbox does not have to be constantly worked to progress quickly. Even if you have to change gears, Ford has opted for a new manual gearbox that is softer and more positive than before, which further enhances the driving experience.

The Figo also comes with an automatic gasoline engine, a new three-cylinder engine of the dragon engine family. It is coupled to a 6-speed torque converter and, like the old car, will only be available in the mid-specification Titanium variant.

As for driving and handling, the Ford Figo remains as solid as before. The direction is direct and he is also eager to change direction. The Figo is a bit soft at the beginning and the roll is soft but not excessive.
