Our correspondent from Norwich City Paddy Davitt scored his points after the staggering victory of the Canary Islands Championship against Rotherham United.

This is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's troops, who have shown extraordinary character and are determined to defeat a Rotherham determined to return to the top of the championship.

• Tim Krul

Mostly watched, he went through the crowd to make a vital punch to ease the pressure in the final seconds. 7

• Max Aarons

Almost camped in the last third of the Millers in the second half. Served a chance that went to beg for Teemu Pukki. No need for yellow to throw the ball. 7

• Christoph Zimmermann

Farke felt that Rotherham's equalizer was skimming over his captain to deceive Tim Krul. But no-one better in this side of Norwich is attacking in the defensive corners. 8

• Ben Godfrey

Winner's head but his calm, both airy and on the ground, so impressive in the midst of Rotherham's direct badaults. 9

• Jamal Lewis

First point of attack in the first half. More circumspect after the interval. 7

• Tom Trybull

Triggered the movement for the purpose of opening. Measured in possession and some vital blocks to stop Rotherham at the source. Excellent film for Kenny McLean. 8

• Kenny McLean

Marked first with a burst of instinctive attack and a compound finish. Help for the winner. Much more control over his art all around than some recent performances. 9

• Emi Buendia

A smothered blow when Pukki prepared it. Entered for a more brutal treatment but should treat this as a mark of respect. 7

• Marco Stiepermann

Selfless change. Vital selling point to trigger City on the counter. 7

• Onel Hernandez

Release Pukki late in the second half. Good protection for Jamal Lewis. 7

• Teemu Pukki

Another nice help for the collection but by its extremely high standards has not been able to take advantage of two or three excellent goal chances. 7

Substitutes of the city

• Jordan Rhodes n / a

(for Teemu Pukki, 90)

• Timm Klose n / a

(for Onel Hernandez, 90 + 1)

• Mario Vrancic n / a

(for Emi Buendia, 90 + 2)
