When Kurt Angle finally withdraws from the competition in the ring next month, he will do it on the most beautiful scene: WrestleMania.
Angle announced that the extravagance of the next moth at MetLife Stadium would bring down the curtain on his illustrious career.
Subsequently, all eyes turned to who will face the former WWE champion.
And it seems that the gold medalist has won the gold standard, Shelton Benjamin, for the first time in more than ten years at the Show of Shows.

Benjamin made a strong comeback to Raw last week by attacking Seth Rollins from behind.
Now, he seems ready to face Angle at WrestleMania 35, having been named by the veteran last week, and then on social media to challenge the greats.
And Angle is certainly receptive to this idea.
He answered simply: "I'm leaving !!!!"
Benjamin and Angle appeared together for the first time at WWE TV in 2002, when Shelton joined "The World's Largest Tag Team" alongside Charlie Haas; Angle has been their mentor for a while.
Under the tutelage of Angle, Benjamin and Haas won their first team championship just a month after their debut and became champions twice before separating.
Angle and Benjamin have shared a ring many times, but the last time was 14 years ago.
Another name that was mentioned, including by Angle himself, is that of John Cena.

Angle was WWE's first televised fight on Cena and it's the 16-time champion who inducted Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame a few years ago.
However, it seems increasingly likely that Cena will face American champion Samoa Joe in New Jersey next month.
AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley are some of the other names mentioned for Angle's farewells, but like Cena, they all have the same direction.
As such, while Angle is due to name his opponent Monday Night Raw this week, all signs point to a fourteen-year battle.
