Four people were arrested in connection with renewed clashes between the Konkombas and Chorkosis in the Chereponi district of the Northeast region.
The suspects were arrested in two different areas with single-barrel weapons and arrested for contributing to investigations.

The DSP Mohammed Yusiif Tanko, of the Northern Regional Police, who confirmed the incident, announced around 22:30 that the Chereponi police had been informed that a 22-year-old Jababu Fuad had been shot dead by strangers in Nawieku, a community of Chokosi.
He added that the victim had received two bullets, one in the right thigh and the other in the right arm, and had been transported to Chereponi hospital.
An eyewitness who gave his name to Kwame, told DGN Online that he had been shot in the company of his friend outside his home and had decided to go to the bush to observe nature. .
He said that when he approached the bush, unknown gunmen appeared and shot him before fleeing.
Meanwhile, the situation has resulted in an exchange of fire between the Konkombas and Chokosis in Chereponi today.
According to unconfirmed reports, several communities were reportedly burned and residents began to flee the district.
It will be remembered that a brawl broke out last year between Chokosis and Konkombas on a piece of land located in Chereponi district.
The conflict resulted in the burning of more than 150 homes and caused about 15 deaths.
