During his trip to Johannesburg, one of Mr. Lewis' key agenda items will be visiting professors, students and administrators from the University of Witzwatersrand & Aurum Institute. Yale's long-time partner with whom it works closely to accelerate the development of HIV / AIDS Tuberculosis researchers by developing the mentoring and leadership capabilities of mid-career scientists. With the Clayton-Dedonder Fellowship for Research Leadership, launched last year, Yale's experts will leverage many strengths in South Africa and Yale, including proven training models in the field. management and leadership created by the Yale Global Health Leadership Initiative (GHLI).

During the trip, Mr. Lewis will also visit the African Leadership Academy.
