I call Eric Mills Lamptey (captain). I am an airline pilot. I have forty years of flying experience, during this period I flew on board eight different aircraft.
The Ethiopian airline B737 Max is sad, painful and unhappy. My deepest condolences go to bereaved families.
The Boeing 737 Max 8 had a technical problem that had to be corrected by the manufacturer, Boeing. However, this correction had not been communicated effectively by the manufacturer. Where has it happened recently in Ethiopia and Indonesia six months ago.
It is imperative that the manufacturer ensures thorough cross checks to avoid such unfortunate situations.
Mr. Tewolde, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, who also immobilized his B737 Max aircraft on the ground, said that aviation authorities in other countries should have good reason to ground the aircraft, adding that the Security was paramount and control was the right thing to do.

We have experienced Ghanaian pilots abroad who have expressed interest in returning home to join the national airline. The combination of their rich experience would greatly contribute to the success of the new national airline. Safety and security would certainly not be compromised, the hospitality and comfort of the pbadengers would be badured.
The Minister of Aviation has mandated to take over the operational dimension of the national airline to recruit pilots, etc., and facilitate other projects as part of the ongoing process.
In my opinion. The government's vision for a national airline in collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines would be a success.
