The Thanos attack is almost coming up in Avengers: Endgame

The break in Thanos that wiped out half of all life in the universe at the end of Avengers: Infinity War was originally discussed for the next Avengers: Endgame in the early versions.

In a new interview with Empire magazine, co-writer Stephen McFeely revealed that very early in the writing process, the original shot was set to unfold after Avengers: Infinity War.

"We had so many stories in early versions of Infinity War that we thought maybe we should not do The Snap before the end of Endgame's first act," McFeely told Empire.

When the decision was made to make the cliché happen in Avengers: Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, Infinity War, said it was an end considered for years.

"We've been talking about this end for years and years and years – that's why we adapted Infinity Gauntlet," said Feige. "What was the most shocking thing we could do? Finish the movie with The Snap."
