Deputy Chief of Staff praises Ghana's credentials in South Africa | General news

The Government of Ghana has purchased more than 200 ambulances to boost the health sector of the economy.

Deputy Chief of Staff Francis Asenso-Boakye made the revelation at the 3rd South Africa-Ghana Awards held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Pretoria, South Africa.

Ambulances were distributed in every constituency in the country to provide timely medical services and to transport patients to hospitals.

"The NHIA, which was struggling with crushing debt only a few years ago, has had a major capital injection and innovative approaches to its services. The government has also purchased nearly 280 ambulances, one per riding, and continues to provide our hospitals with the tools and diagnostic tools they need.he boasted.

Addressing a rally at the event, the deputy chief of staff also touted some of Akufo-Addo's development achievements, such as the free high school policy, the 1 District 1 Factory, the introduction of NABCO to create jobs across the and much more than the government does to ensure the economy sees a major improvement in all sectors.

". . the president has embarked on an aggressive development program with the vision of a Ghana beyond help. The implementation of Free SHS, the introduction of NABCO, interventions such as the National Innovation and Enterprise Program are all part of a global effort to improve the capital of the human resources needed to transform our country. Government initiatives such as the factories of a district, a dam of a village, plantations for food and jobs are designed with the aim of strengthening our production capacity in order to accelerate the 39 industrialization of our economy and stimulate economic growth," he stated.

Asenso-Boakye pledged President Nana Akufo-Addo's commitment to alleviating the economic difficulties inherited from the government of the former Mahama government and helping the people of Ghana.

"Building a strong and resilient health system that delivers affordable, accessible and timely services for all remains a key government priority … we can say more about the government's concrete and courageous efforts to accelerate our development, create jobs sustainable and digitize our economy".
