Kurt Angle has announced the man he will face in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35.

The 50-year-old Olympic gold medalist announced Monday night that he would complete his illustrious career in the square circle with a game against Baron Corbin.

Former WWE Champion, Angle, will retire after the party in New York early April, and fans have been eagerly awaiting who he would face.

And while a host of names, such as John Cena, The Undertaker, and AJ Styles have all been mentioned, Angle will instead get in the ring against the man he claims has made of my life. a hell "in the last year.

Angle called his shot

Corbin, known as "The Wolf Lone", spent much of 2018 torturing Angle while he was respectively General Manager and Monday Night Raw's Police Officer.

And this rivalry has somewhat subsided in recent months, since Angle embarrbaded Corbin in a royal battle, disguised as a Conquistador.

Before beating Chad Gable in singles at Raw, Chicago, Angle announced that the duo was going to face them, much to the dismay of the spectators.

Baron Corbin

"I really enjoyed laughing at you and humiliating you as General Manager of Raw," said Corbin.

"But it will not be as good as dominating you in your last game."

Angle had hinted that he would face Shelton Benjamin at the MetLife stadium next month, in a match that would have lasted about 14 years.

The Gold Standard has used social media to launch a final challenge to the 50-year-old athlete. Angle had been receptive to this idea and had answered "I'm Game".

But unless this match takes place in one of the two remaining Monday Night Raw games before "Mania", it would seem that Benjamin and Angle no longer share the ring.
