5 things you missed on Monday Night Raw as WWE gets closer to WrestleMania 35

Monday Night Raw arrived in Chicago Monday night with the installation of additional pieces of the WrestleMania puzzle.

Seth Rollins faced Drew McIntrye, Brock Lesnar of Beast Incarnate returned to live television and WWE legend Kurt Angle revealed his opponent for his final match at WrestleMania.

Mirror Sports John Isherwood looks specifically at what happened.

1. Angle makes its choice

Last week, the Olympic gold medalist told the WWE Universe in his hometown of Pittsburgh that he would be playing his last match at WrestleMania in New York.

Speculation about Angle's opponent was widespread on the internet as fans drew up their dream match wish list. Shawn Michaels and John Cena were all mentioned. Monday night, we found out who was choosing Angle.

Rather disappointing, Angle announced that he wanted to face Baron Corbin. The Lone Wolf had proven to be a thorn in Angle's foot during his tenure as Raw's General Manager and both had been physically in the past, but do not get me wrong, this announcement is a bit of a disappointment .

Before beating Chad Gable, Angle said about his match on the biggest stage: "Nothing makes me happier than playing Baron Corbin at WrestleMania".

2. Phoenix up

Sasha Banks and Bayley have successfully defended the WWE women's team titles at Fastlane for the first time. Since then, it remains to be seen who will launch the challenge against Boss N Hug Connection at WrestleMania.

With the champions being able to defend their titles on one of the three WWE brands, teams from all over the world are cracking for their luck. No more than the Iiconics, who have been advocating on social media in recent weeks.

5. Drew poses his WrestleMania challenge.
