Authorities have already rescued at least 50 children from a three-story building that collapsed in the Itafaji district on Lagos Island.

Emergency relief agencies such as the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) as well as staff from security are currently on the incident site.

The building, located on Mbadey Street, in the Adeniji Adele district of Lagos Island, sold around 9:45 am on Wednesday.
