President receives credentials from four envoys

Accra, March 19, GNA –
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo received on Tuesday the letters of
four new envoys accredited by their country to Ghana.

The emissaries included;
the ambbadador of Saudi Arabia to Ghana, Meshal Hamdan Al-Rogi; the Maltese top
Ghana Commissioner Jean Claude Galea Mallia; the Bulgarian ambbadador to
Ghana, Blagoev Delchev; and Burundi's ambbadador to Ghana, Emmanuel Mpfayokurera.

At separate events at
Jubilee House, President Akufo-Addo welcomed the new envoys to Ghana and
typed their backs at their appointments.

He wished them a
mission accomplished successfully in Ghana and badured of its continued support for the
strengthen ties with their countries of respect for the mutual benefit of all
evenings.

The Saudi envoy,
Meshal Hamdan Al-Rogi, spoke of the kingdom's eagerness to increase and
develop bilateral relations between the two countries.

He hoped that
"I will do my best to achieve this high common will,
in the framework of the privileged and historical relations between Saudis and Ghanaians
leadership and people. "

President Akufo Addo
mentioned the relations between Saudi Arabia and Ghana which "has been a good one
nearly sixty years now, "and looks forward to strengthening the
the bonds of friendship between the two nations.

He was grateful for
the Kingdom's generosity to Ghana over the years and expressed its conviction
appreciation of the warm welcome reserved to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia by
King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Sau during his visit to Saudi Arabia last year.

Burundian
Ambbadador Mpfayokurera told President Akufo-Addo that his country had followed
and with admiration, his commitment to advancing the interests of Ghana and
Africa and "would like to develop strategies and work with you".

He hoped that
its presence in Ghana would strengthen existing diplomatic relations and
cooperation between the two countries.

President Akufo-Addo
badured him that Ghana would work to strengthen ties with Burundi.

He said called
African countries to accelerate efforts to achieve Continental Free
International trade to accelerate intra-African trade leading to development,
saying that the move would create a more effective and direct opportunity
between nations.

Jean Claude Mallia,
the Maltese High Commissioner who congratulated Ghana for its outstanding social and social work
economic development, culture, health and education, and the democracy that has placed
on the right track to development, said "the intensification of relations with Ghana is
a priority for Malta's strategy in West Africa. "

He observed that many
recently made in the bilateral relations between Ghana and Malta,
since his country established its High Commission in Accra last year, claiming
"We are firmly committed to continuing this momentum."

President Akufo-Addo
was convinced that his state visit to Malta next week would be an opportunity
continue this momentum to strengthen relations between the two nations.

For its part, the
Bulgarian Ambbadador Vesselin Delchev said his country has a view of Ghana
as a leader on the African continent, declaring that Bulgaria would strengthen
already strong bilateral, trade and economic relations with Ghana for the
mutual benefit of their peoples.

President Akufo-Addo
Bulgaria and Ghana said both countries should rely on the high level
contacts they had established to strengthen their links.
