Top 4 still a possibility for Arsenal

[ad_1]

The Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are still in the race to rank among the top four and secure football in the Champions League next season.

The first season of Unai Emery will be a huge success if they manage to succeed. They have only been at the helm to form their team.

An advantage for Arsenal is that if they stay in the race for fourth place or more, they will face Crystal Palace and Brighton at home before a trip to Turf Moor in the last game of the season, all of which are very winners for the Emery team.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have had wonderful seasons for Arsenal so far, scoring 28 goals between them. They will be key figures if Arsenal manages to sneak in May in the Champions League.

Another bright light in Arsenal's ranks this season is young midfielder holder Guendouzi. The midfielder has played 25 times in his first season in English football and it could be that he deserves a call from the French national team.

The qualifying campaign for the 2020 European Championships starts on the 21stst March and, with France playing against Moldova in their opening match, Guendouzi hopes to play and meet his teammate Lacazette. International sports betting suggests that France is the favorite win the tournament after their success in Russia last summer.

Back in the Premier League, Guendouzi and his teammates still have work to do. Manchester United still has to face rivals Manchester City and Tottenham having lost points against Burnley and Southampton in recent weeks, Arsenal fans should be confident.

If the Gunners fail in their bid for fourth place, the Europa League could offer them a new chance to be part of the Champions League next season. But this is not the only English team to hope for the same scenario since Chelsea booked their place in the quarter-finals after dismantling Dynamo Kyiv 8-0 in two sets.

The Gunners, however, made the task difficult against Rennes. After falling 3-1 in France, it took a big performance in the second leg to progress. The way to win may however give hope, as the belief in the team is obvious.

Whatever the outcome for Emery players, they seem ready to get more points than last season. Arsenal finished sixth with 63 points. This season, they are already in fourth place with 60 points. It's a big improvement.

Unai Emery has arrived and done wonders for Arsenal this season. However, there is still a lot of work to do to rank among the top four. If many supporters of Arsenal would have raised their hand at the start of the campaign if the Champions League football was badured for the 2019/2020 season, this seems like a possibility.
