Triumph of League of Nations would be better in World Cup semifinal – Kane

LONDON: If England wins the League of Nations this year, it will be a bigger success than reaching the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, said Tuesday Captain Harry Kane.

England will face the Netherlands on 6 June in the semi-finals of the League of Nations, to face the champion of Europe, Portugal or Switzerland, in the final three days later in Porto .

"Having a chance to win a trophy in English jersey does not happen very often," said the attacker to reporters. "If we win this trophy, in my eyes it will be a better year than 2018."

Kane is preparing for the first qualifying matches for England at Euro 2020 against the Czech Republic on Friday and Montenegro on Monday.
