The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), as part of its efforts to improve environmental sanitation in the metropolis, has deployed forty sanitation inspectors to enforce the bylaw sanitation application, starting Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

He added that, in collaboration with the Municipal Assembly of Asokore Mampong, it had been envisaged to confiscate stray animals found during and after the celebration.
"It was observed that many animals were on the main streets of Manhyia Palace, Asawasi, Aboabo, the roundabout at Kumasi Airport, where dignitaries would pbad, causing traffic jams and traffic jams. Any animal found will be confiscated and the owner will be prosecuted, "warned the mayor of Kumasi.
